Curtis joined the firm without receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. During his time in law school Curtis ripened a passion for sponsorship and defending people. Curtis was heavily involved in Student Legal Services of Edmonton (SLS). Curtis co-ran the Criminal Law Project where he oversaw the representation of hundreds of individuals charged with Criminal and Regulatory offences in and virtually Edmonton.
