Stewart nstewart@pringlelaw.ca Nicole is a lawyer with Pringle Chivers Sparks Teskey, practicing exclusively in the zone of criminal defence. Prior to joining the firm, Nicole clerked at the Edmonton Court of Queen’s Bench, and completed her wares under Alexander Pringle, Q.C.. Nicole has conducted trials, appeals, ladle hearings and guilty pleas, representing individuals charged with a wide range of criminal, regulatory and traffic offences, including: Violent Offences Drug Offences Sexual Offences Weapons Offences Driving Offences Property Offences Breach Charges Nicole has wits in dealing with Professional Disciplinary Hearings and Administrative Tribunals, such as appeals to the Alberta Transportation Safety Board. She has moreover gained valuable skills by profitable the partners at the firm on trials, appeals and sentencing hearings for various offences including murder, sexual thumping and trafficking. Nicole obtained her law stratum from the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction. Throughout law school Nicole was on the Dean’s List and was awarded The President’s Scholarship in Law, The Criminal Trial Lawyers Association Prize in Evidence, and The Chief Judge Nelles V Buchanan Memorial Scholarship in Litigation. During law school Nicole served as Criminal Law Project Coordinator for Student Legal Services, an organization that provides legal assistance to low income individuals in the Edmonton Area. Before law school, Nicole graduated with an Honours stratum from Queen’s University, majoring in Political Science, with a minor in French Language. Volunteering as a tutor in the Prison Literacy program at Queen’s, she helped inmates obtain their upper school diplomas through teaching Mathematics and English. During her spare time Nicole volunteers as an in-school mentor with Big Brother Big Sister. She is urgently involved with the Edmonton semester of the Canadian Bar Association and she is President of the Lawyers Curling League. Nicole moreover sits on the Gladue Committee, a panel defended to profitable First Nations offenders in the sentencing process.
