He went on to well-constructed his wares under Kent J Teskey, QC, surpassing stuff tabbed to the bar in 2018. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Stephen served as an Engineer Officer in the Canadian Army. He served with 4 Engineer Service Regiment and 1 Combat Engineer Regiment and trained at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineer. As an Engineer Officer, Stephen had the privilege of commanding troops and participating in high-readiness training and other military operations. While criminal law is exciting, Stephen sometimes misses towers bridges and self-glorification things up! He continues to serve as a member of the Primary Reserves. While at law school, Stephen was involved with Student Legal Services. He assisted people with limited-means with summary conviction matters. He was moreover employed as a summer student at the Edmonton Rural and Regional Response Crown Prosecutor’s Office, where he learned well-nigh the other side of criminal law. In 2017, Stephen was awarded the Norman J Pollock, QC, Prize inSponsorshipby the University of Alberta Faculty of Law for his superior wonk victory in the sponsorship course.
